Lego League
3rd Class 2025/2026
Well done to 3rd Class and their teacher Ms. Rushe who recently took part in the Lego League. The children worked together to design, build and code their lego creations, using teamwork, problem-solving and creativity throughout the project.
It was a fantastic opportunity for them to develop their STEM skills in a fun and hands-on way.

GALWAY SCIENCE FESTIVAL
‘Best Primary School Exhibit 2022 & 2023’
Children from 4th and 5th class took part in the Galway Science Festival in 2022; and children from Mr. Lane's 6th class and our 2nd classes in 2023. The children proudly presented their science projects based on the theme 'The Magic of Science'.
The children won the award for ‘Best Primary School Exhibit’ and received a beautiful trophy at the Awards Ceremony.
ZOOM COMPETITION 2020
The most innovative use of Zoom in Education
During the initial wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, some teachers, pupils, parents and indeed grandparents collaborated to produce a national award-winning video on innovative use of Zoom in education.
