Junior Entrepreneur

Every year, students from 5th class participate in the Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP). This programme provides the children with an opportunity to experience practical, real life business learning as part of their education.

As part of the programme the children design, invest in and produce their own product.

They sell their product to the school community and hold an annual 'Showcase Day'.

Marine Education

As Clarinbridge is the 'Home of the Oyster', promoting ocean awareness, knowledge and engagement is very important in our school.

From 2002-2006 children from our school set up their own Oyster Farm at Cave with the help of Bord Iascaigh Mhara and Clarinbridge Co Op. This was a very interesting and worthwhile project. Today, children in our school watch these videos to learn about Oysters.
